Tutorials and Member Self-Management Details

This area contains a lot of reference material inclusive of information, training videos, tutorials and instructions related to utilizing the admin tools, ESTHER, and help guide members and club admins make nearly all account updates through their USMS My Account or the club admin dashboard.

Don't be overwhelmed; many of the tutorials are short training videos and most of the PDF tutorials contain lots of illustrations.

ESTHER

Use the following training videos and tutorials to learn the functionality you have access to:

My Account

Members and clubs can make nearly all account updates through their My Account or the club admin dashboard. The My Account Updates page will help you understand who sees which options and what information is included from that button on the My Account dashboard and help guide members through their ability to self mange at any time:

• Register Online
• My Information - Members can update their contact information (name, address, phone), gender identity, college or university, and more, as well as fun facts.
• Plans and Payment - Members can view their current membership status, renewal/expiration date, and manage auto-renewal preferences. Members enrolled in auto-renew can see the card stored in their account and update their credit/debit card payment method.
• Add-Ons and Upgrades - This section enables members to purchase optional add-ons
  • USMS-Certified Masters Coach and/or Adult Learn-to-Swim (ALTS) designation
  • USMS+ premium add-on (available Nov. 1-June 30)
  • Make a Donation
    • Adult Learn-to-Swim Grant Donation
      • International Swimming Hall of Fame donation
      • Local Masters Swimming (LMSC) donation
• Change Email Address
• Membership Card (PDF/download)
• Email Preference Center Information
• Transfer My Membership
• View Designate Coach and/or ALTS Instructor tool boxes

Membership Cards

ESTHER is unable to generate PDFs. Members can access an electronic version of their card through their My USMS account for use on their iPhone or Android devices, as well as a PDF they can download. If there are clubs that still require a paper card shown, let the National Office know so we can work with you and the club to let them know the alternatives.

In addition, we plan to continue to send welcome packets to all new members and members who selected the USMS+ add-on option, which includes a card.
