William Kolb was the co-head coach of Lakeside Masters, where he worked tirelessly to grow the program. He was a USMS Level 3 Coach and a certified ALTS Instructor. He helped over 250 adults learn to swim free of charge through the ALTS program he founded. William was appointed as the head coach for Kentucky Masters at national and regional meets, where he supported swimmers on deck and organized the relays and socials.

He was known for his selfless service to others and as a supportive and caring coach. William held several positions in his LMSC, including Vice Chair, Webmaster, and Communications Chair.
