Linda Chapman served as Meets Chair for Pacific Northwest LMSC, bringing computer expertise and organizational skills to the role, which made a positive impact almost immediately. Previously she had served as Top Ten Chair for the Delaware Valley LMSC and when it was difficult to find affordable software to run a meet in the early 80s, she wrote software herself for a Valley Forge Masters meet hosted at Swarthmore College. As her children were growing up, Linda volunteered for the Pacific Northwest LSC by running swim meet operations. She returned to Masters in 2010 where she soon volunteered for the Meets position. She also served as Meet Director for her Lake Washington Masters workout group’s meets. At the national level, Linda served on the LMSC Development Committee.
