The USMS Volunteer Relay
In-person meeting to develop and collaborate with LMSC volunteers.
You may be wondering why this event has been named “Volunteer Relay.” In swimming terms, relays require teamwork and are fun. Relay also connotes receiving and passing on information and can describe a group of people engaged in a task for a fixed period and then replaced by a similar group.
Volunteers are a vital component of the USMS operation. They have a key role in delivering the USMS message and services to adult swimmers in their communities. This gathering is designed to enrich the local Masters Swimming experience and will feature a series of workshops and discussion topics with a main theme.
Relay is a wonderful opportunity for development, learning, motivation, and helping recruit new local volunteers.
