I support and propose change (sometimes radical) to insure the health, prosperity and future of USMS, including better and more opportunities for our members to join or come back. Do not vote for me if you think USMS is just fine the way it is and do not want anything to change.

Why are you interested in this position and why do you believe you would be a good candidate?

I am the incumbent VP and intend to improve on my first term

What do you consider to be the major issues facing USMS now and in the future? As a person holding an elected position within USMS, how would you address these issues?

Growth and retention of members. I support a national marketing (ad) campaign, uniform national registration fees, consistent LMSC presence and services, specialized help for local groups (including clubs and pool operators) and more communication and interaction with other masters aquatics groups.
