The elected positions on the USMS Board of Directors ("BOD") consist of seven (7) elected officers and a Director from each of the eight (8) Zones. In 2005, the USMS House of Delegates ("HOD") will elect all 15 positions simultaneously.
Board of Directors
The legislation which defines the BOD positions can be found in the 2005 USMS Code of Regulations and Rules of Competition (Articles 505: OFFICERS and 506: BOARD OF DIRECTORS). Below are descriptions of the duties of the 15 elected members. An explanation of duties of the full BOD can be found in the document USMS BOD Duties.

Directors
There shall be a director from each of the eight (8) zones, nominated by their zone and elected by the HOD. Directors do not have responsibility, power or authority individually, since the Board's decision-making ability lies in its group structure. Please review the document USMS BOD Duties to gain an understanding of the responsibilities of the directors as members of the BOD.
